Global Magnet Fishing Day is all about the magnet fishing community. It’s people around the world getting out, enjoying the hobby, connecting with each other, and helping clean up waterways along the way. That mix of community and cleanup is what magnet fishing has always been about.
Nick (Magnet Junkie) and I (Nate-Cape Cod Magnet Crew) were chatting about this event and we are going to get out July 19th, 2026 and celebrate Global Magnet Fishing Day, and we’re inviting ANYONE and EVERYONE who wants to join in to do the same. If a different date works better for you or your area, that’s totally fine too. This date just works best for the events we’ll be hosting individually in our areas
It doesn’t matter if you’ve been magnet fishing for years, if you’re brand new, or if you just want to try it for the first time. Come out for a few minutes or make a full day of it. Every little bit helps.
