Magnet Fishing at the Chatham Fish Pier

We don’t normally repost a video as a separate post, usually the latest three are featured on the front page. With that said, our most recent outing was to the Chatham Fish Pier in Chatham, MA and we really wanted to feature this one on it’s own.

As we’ve mentioned in our post about Magnet Fishing Safety, it’s always good to call a place and ask for permission before arriving. Ever since we started, this was one location we knew we had to try and get into. I had spoken with the Harbormasters office about fishing at Mitchell Bridge in the past and a gentleman I did business with, Nick Nickerson, reminded me it was the same person that could get me into the fish pier.

I spoke with Stuart, the Chatham Harbormaster and sure enough; he gave us permission and was even interested in learning what we do. Being the off-season, and now with permission, we went right out. There’s no chance we are attempting this in the busy time of the year.

Hopefully you enjoy this video and if any Cape Codders are checking this out and have a recommendation that we should it next, we’d be happy to hear it. If you work at/ run a marina or boat slip; get in touch. We’d love to come remove the metal from your area too!

Enjoy!
